About

Over the course of his 20+ years in the legal field, Attorney Kerry P. O’Brien has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in a wide range of insurance cases. This dual experience grants him a strategic edge whether he's advocating for or defending a client's claim.

After being admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001, Attorney O’Brien initially worked as an associate workers’ compensation defense attorney. In 2005, he made the move to Southern California, where he continued his career as an insurance defense attorney. Over time, he expanded his practice to encompass plaintiff personal injury, estate planning, and bankruptcy.

Attorney O’Brien’s portfolio of handled insurance claims is extensive and diverse. He's effectively litigated various workers’ compensation cases, including depositions, appeals, serious and willful misconduct petitions, and discrimination claims L.C. 132a, with consistently favorable trial outcomes. Additionally, he is dedicated to litigating and securing victories in personal injury cases, with a specific focus on auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, all traffic-related incidents, and dog bite cases.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Attorney O’Brien enjoys traveling, playing soccer and tennis, and cherishing quality time with his family.
