Attorney O’Brien’s education includes a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, an M.A. in Government from California State University, Sacramento, and a Juris Doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law in Fresno, California.
Following his admission to the State Bar of California in 2001, Mr. O’Brien began his career by working as an associate workers’ compensation defense attorney. He relocated to Southern California in 2005 and continued his employment as an insurance defense attorney before expanding his practice to include plaintiff personal injury, estate planning, and bankruptcy.
The insurance claims Attorney O’Brien has handled are numerous and varied. He has handled all types of workers’ compensation cases including depositions, trials, appeals, serious and willful misconduct petitions, and discrimination claims L.C. 132a. He is also focused on litigating and winning personal injury cases with specific emphasis on auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, slip and fall accidents, all traffic-related accidents, and dog bites.
Traveling, playing soccer and tennis, and spending time with his family are among Attorney O’Brien’s outside interests.
